The World Cup is in full swing, with eliminations in the round of 16 setting up a stacked quarterfinal, with the United States, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, England, and host country France still in contention.

With the tournament in Europe this year, the earliest game time will be at 9 a.m. (EDT), with other matches at 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m., culminating in the final on Sunday, July 7, at 11 a.m.

A number of bars and restaurants in Boston and its surrounding cities and towns have been showing World Cup matches, and the following are known to be patronized by certified soccer obsessives. Go to these bars, drink many pints, and luxuriate in the world’s best sporting event.

This map was originally published on June 13, 2018. It is updated periodically; the date of the most recent update appears above.
