A number of Boston-area restaurants — especially those located inside hotels — are keeping the lights on during Christmas Day and rolling out special feasts for the occasion. Momi Nonmi
Go big with a Christmas omakase dinner at Momi Nonmi, an upscale sushi spot known for its sake selection. Chef and owner Chris Chung is accepting reservations on December 25 for a varied omakase menu that starts at $192 per person, with a minimum of two people and a maximum of four required on the reservation.
Alcove
Take in waterfront views while feasting at Alcove, which is mixing its regular dinner menu with a few holiday specials on December 25. Fancy a stroll through the Seaport instead? Check out owner Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli’s latest venture, seafood restaurant Hook + Line, and the adjacent H+L Market, which will also be open on the holiday.

Mare
Head to restaurateur Frank DePasquale’s Hanover Street hot spot on December 25 from 4 to 11 p.m. for oysters, crudo, and more, either indoors or while cozying up around a warm firepit on the restaurant’s enclosed patio. Another of DePasquale’s restaurants located on the same block, Bricco, is open for service on Christmas Day from 12 to 11 p.m.

Clink at the Liberty Hotel
At Clink inside the storied Liberty Hotel, tuck into wagyu corned beef hash and Maine lobster Benedicts during a decadent Christmas Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., then swing back around for an equally decadent dinner of dressed-up lobster mac and cheese or a surf and turf plate of filet mignon and Alaskan king crab from 4 to 8 p.m.
Grana at The Langham
The Langham Hotel’s restaurant Grana is doing a family-style menu on Christmas Day. Appetizers include a winter vegetable salad and roasted parsnip soup with apple chutney, followed by a roasted beef tenderloin, and sides like creamy polenta with cured tomatoes and grilled broccolini. Cap off the meal with a stop at the dessert bar. The meal costs $155 per person (or $85 for children aged five or older) and is served in three hour-long seatings that start at 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Reservations are available here.
Boston Harbor Hotel
The swanky waterfront Boston Harbor Hotel is hosting a blowout brunch on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with roasted turkey, Peking duck, slow-roasted prime rib, and an extensive raw bar — essentially, come hungry. The brunch is $225 per person (tax and tip included), or $80 for children 5 to 12. Reservations are available here.
Contessa
Head up to the top of the Newbury Hotel to feast in style on Christmas Day. Major Food Group’s lauded Italian restaurant Contessa is serving a $195-per-person, four-course Christmas meal with dishes like spicy lobster rigatoni and ribeye tagliata. The dinner is served from 12 to 8 p.m., and reservations are available here. Want something a little more lowkey? The hotel bar, also run by Major Food Group, will be serving a three-course Christmas meal for $95 per person with no reservation needed.

Atlantic Fish Company
Seafood mainstay Atlantic Fish Company is celebrating the holiday with a special menu that includes oysters Rockefeller, roasted duck, and pineapple upside-down cake. Seatings are available from 3 to 9 p.m. Reserve here.
Abe & Louie's
One of Boston’s best steakhouses will be open on Christmas Day from 4 to 9 p.m., serving up a bevy of holiday specials including smoked trout pate, a baked pear and brie tart, slow-roasted prime rib, and sweet endnotes like pineapple upside-down cake and butter cake with cherries and vanilla ice cream. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
Brazilian steakhouse chain Fogo de Chão in Back Bay will be open to customers on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go for the churrasco experience to get the restaurant’s roasted meats via all-you-can-eat tableside service for $66.50 per person.
Eastern Standard
A just-reopened industry favorite, Eastern Standard is keeping the lights on for service on Christmas Day. Book a reservation for the restaurant’s $85-per-person, three-course prix fixe menu with entrees including a festive prime rib roast with green peppercorn sauce and duchess-style baked potatoes, or crispy confit pork belly with polenta and sherry-glazed mushrooms. Dinner service runs from 2 to 8 p.m., and the bar is open until 9 p.m.
Frenchie
Relaxed neighborhood wine bar and restaurant Frenchie is serving a prix fixe meal of hearty French fare — with some celebratory luxe add-ons available — all day on December 25, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations are available here.
