Already known for its strong brunch menu, Puritan & Co. is pulling out all the stops for its New Year’s Day brunch, which will be a Vegas-inspired extravaganza that includes everything from pastries, sourdough waffles, and bagels with cured fish to smoked pork loin, raw bar items, and ribeye. Tickets, which include one boozy brunch beverage, are available online for two seatings (11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.) for $100 per person.

The dishes are packed together in boxes called jubako (similar to bento boxes), and each dish has a special meaning for starting off the new year. The restaurant will have two versions available: a shokado bento with nine dishes for $29 and an osechi jubako with 12 dishes for $35. Diners have an option to add mochi for dessert for $7. The meal will be offered from 12 to 3 p.m. Make reservations online (required).
