The Boston area caters fairly well to those looking for meat-free meals; even most restaurants that do serve meat try to offer at least a few solid vegetarian and vegan options. While Eater Boston’s vegetarian- and vegan-friendly map tracks the best of those restaurants, some diners prefer to avoid businesses that use animal products altogether. This map gives the rundown on 15 of the best strictly vegan restaurants in and around Boston, serving everything from fast-casual grain bowls to fine-dining dinners.
Note: Be on the lookout for the opening of Lulu Green, a vegan restaurant slated to open at the end of January 2020 in South Boston, and vegan pizzeria chain Double Zero, eventually arriving in Back Bay. Also note that popular vegan food truck Bartleby’s Seitan Stand will be moving out of state after a string of February 2020 events.
