Boston’s Best Monday Dining Specials
Fried chicken, noodles, and more

Highland Kitchen
Each Monday, Highland Kitchen serves its acclaimed buttermilk fried chicken alongside a menu of Tiki drinks. While the restaurant’s younger Inman Square sibling, Highland Fried, serves up fried chicken and Tiki drinks daily, Highland Kitchen’s “fried chicken and Tiki Mondays” are a Somerville institution and well worth a visit.

Nightshade Pop Up at Buenas Maxi Kiosko
Nightshade — a popular North Shore pop-up and forthcoming Lynn restaurant — continues its weekly residency at Buenas in Union Square’s Bow Market. Chef Rachel Miller prepares several noodle dishes that include Buenas’ pebre and chimicurri sauces, and customers can place orders for takeout for $10, with “hot noods” available from 7 p.m. until sell-out. The Monday series is slated to continue until the Nightshade restaurant opens; keep an eye on social media for any scheduling updates. (Note: The noodles are available for takeout only, but Bow Market customers can bring their food into the market’s various bars or sit in the courtyard if weather permits.)

(Bodega Canal also has a different taco special on Tuesdays.)
