While sliders can often be found hiding amongst fried appetizers at bars all year, it's patio season that spurs the greater visibility of the classic mini burger. Whether diners want to nibble on something small while drinking cocktails al fresco or pretend they're being bikini-conscious by not swinging for that whole burger and fries, sliders are virtually an obligatory summer food.
