Ben Stiller Dined at ‘Vegan Heaven’ PlantPub With His Daughter

Ben Stiller’s 19-year old daughter Ella says Cambridge’s PlantPub is “like vegan heaven,” according to a report in People. The pair stopped by the hugely popular vegan eatery to snack on vegan “pub fries, a Buffalo chicken Caesar wrap, a margherita pizza, and an Impossible burger (hold the pickles),” according to the report. To drink, they each sipped Main Root root beer, while Ella Stiller also enjoyed an Oreo frappe.

Bar Volpe’s “takeout Tuesday” box

South Boston’s Bar Volpe (170 W. Broadway, Boston) debuted “takeout Tuesday,” a weekly meal for two ($65) with a package of ready-to-cook bucatini, a pint of Bolognese, Taleggio-stuffed focaccia, and a bottle of Sangiovese. Kestra debuts lunch and dinner

Kestra Mediterranean and American restaurant at the Omni Boston Hotel at The Seaport is expanding its offerings, with lunch and dinner joining a line-up that previously only included breakfast. New bites include octopus a la plancha with spicy tomato and and garlic aioli crunchy potato; a falafel wrap; and Seaport fish stew with shrimp, clams, mussels, octopus, monkfish; and more. Breakfast is served weekdays from 6:30 until 11 a.m., and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch runs on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., and on weekends from noon to 3 p.m. Dinner is served daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
