A trio of iconic Boston restaurants will join the vendor lineup for a food hall set to open this winter within a massive development near TD Garden and North Station. Mike’s Pastry and Monica’s Mercato, two North End staples, will open along with Sullivan’s Castle Island (of South Boston) at the Hub on Causeway’s Hub Hall (80 Causeway St., West End, Boston).
Mike’s, Monica’s, and Sullivan’s are among the first vendors announced for the new food hall, which will ultimately feature 18 vendors, including Apizza, a New Haven- and Roman-style pizza place from Douglass Williams, the chef and owner of Italian restaurant Mida in Boston’s South End.
Hub Hall is part of the larger Hub on Causeway complex, which will also be home to Banners Kitchen & Tap — a 25,000-square-foot bar with Top Golf suites, 60 beers on tap, and a massive 39.5-foot television — as well as a three-part venue called Big Night Live that will include a restaurant from Guy Fieri, an event space, and a music hall. Both the food hall and Banners will be operated by Patina Restaurant Group, while Boston’s Big Night Entertainment Group will run Big Night Live and Guy Fieri’s Tequila Cocina.
There’s much more to come from Hub Hall, including additional vendor announcements. In the meantime, keep apprised of Boston’s developing food hall scene, and track additional restaurant openings for the coming months.
