The fire reportedly started around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, July 29, and firefighters from Revere, Lynn, and additional communities nearby responded to extinguish the blaze, which was raised to a four-alarm fire around 2 a.m. after the roof became compromised. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but the building is reportedly a “total loss.”

Customers flooded the Bagel Bin’s Facebook page with comments of support and encouragement for the family in the rebuilding process to come.

In addition to bagels, the restaurant served pancakes, waffles, French toast, egg dishes, and lunch and dinner entrees such as pizza, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches.
