Minibar, the decade-old cocktail lounge serving snacks and small plates inside the Copley Square Hotel (51 Huntington Ave., Back Bay, Boston), is closed. An employee at the hotel told Eater that the bar has been closed since January.
Minibar was popular with the Back Bay after-work crowd in search of $2 happy hour sliders and cocktails that didn’t go much above $10. Its cocktail list included a “skinny” margarita, lychee martini, rum punch, and the like.
It’s unclear at the moment why Minibar closed or what will replace it. Eater has made repeated efforts to contact the Copley Square Hotel’s management team and will update this story as more information becomes available.
