Colette debuts in Cambridge tomorrow, located in the Porter Square Hotel (1924 Massachusetts Ave., Porter Square). Sibling to Frenchie across the river — and sharing one owner with Petit Robert as well — Colette will likewise specialize in French cuisine. And also like Frenchie, Colette will feature lush floral wallpaper.

The restaurant — self-described as a “neo bistro” — will be a casual dining experience defined by fresh ingredients, as co-owner Sandrine Rossi previously told Eater. “The neo-bistro movement, or bistronomy, reimagines approachable dining with a pared-back dining space, relaxed service, and an abiding focus on freshness,” Rossi said at the time.

The menu will likely bear similarity to those of its siblings. Frenchie (a nominee for the 2017 Eater Boston Restaurant of the Year award) serves dishes like escargot toast, steak tartare, duck magret, and cheese and charcuterie boards, while diners at Petit Robert Bistro eat dishes such as coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon, and Lyonnaise-style calf’s liver. (Rossi and Loic Le Garrec own Frenchie together; Le Garrec is also behind Petit Robert.)

The opening chef at Colette is Cyrille Couet, former chef at Miel in the Intercontinental Hotel and co-owner of the now-shuttered Bistro Duet in Arlington.

Colette is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; reserve a table online.
