Roslindale Village Main Street President Anthony Giordano has a new addition to his property with the opening of Square Root. Located at 2 Corinth Street, in the former Marla’s Obsession Boutique, the updated establishment serves as a cafe, workspace, and performance venue. Square Root lays this out on its website:
We aim to create an environment like no other in the neighborhood, providing amazing coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch items, a place to co-work, and a live entertainment venue, complete with craft beer, and wine.
Giordano told Eater that the menu is in “starter mode,” but promises that a more firmed up version will be available next week. According to the Square Root website, the establishment is still hiring for food prep persons, line cooks, baristas, and bartenders. The Facebook page for Square Root claims there will be beer and wine available.
The multi-use business was first spotted by Boston Restaurant Talk last May.
