A Nantucket-based hospitality team behind a new Seaport District restaurant is already overhauling that restaurant, turning it into a location of one of the team’s other restaurants, specializing in burgers. Hot pot spot 111 East (11 Fan Pier Blvd., Boston), run by restaurateur Marco Coelho and Team Hospitality, will transition into a second location of Nantucket’s Lola Burger, reopening on November 14 under the new name.

The Lola Burger (stylized as LoLa Burger) menu features a signature burger base with varieties of toppings, sauces, and cheeses, including fried eggs, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, and red onion compote. The restaurant’s vegetarian-friendly option will be the Beyond Burger, and there will be a special eight-ounce Angus beef patty burger as well, plus hot dogs, falafel sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant will offer gluten-free buns, ice cream shakes, beer, and wine.

Lola Burger joins sibling restaurants Lola 41 on Nantucket and Lola 42 (22 Liberty Dr., Seaport District, Boston). It replaces 111 East, which focused on hot pot and build-your-own noodle dishes and had operated in the neighborhood for only a few months (it opened in July 2019.)

Lola Burger will seat 73, operating from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The group will also expand its Lola 41 restaurant to Palm Beach, Florida, this year.
