Dining options at Logan Airport will one day reach a whole new level, with numerous local restaurants and vendors slated to fill each of the four terminals. Announcements of new Logan restaurants have been rolling out over the course of 2019 — along with several restaurant openings — and now there are new details on the forthcoming satellite location of Boston Public Market, which is headed for the airport’s terminal C. Boston Public Market announced today that the new location will include several vendors from its original location as well as grab-and-go snacks, a salad bar, and a full-service bar that will serve beer, wine, and liquor.
Beantown Pastrami, Inna’s Kitchen, Market Bagels, Mother Juice, Noodle Lab, and Red’s Best will be represented within Boston Public Market at Logan later this fall. The space will span 6,000 square feet, operating in association with restaurateur HMSHost and airport concessions developer and manager MarketPlace Logan.
Customers flying through terminal C will find breakfast, lunch, and dinner options at Boston Public Market at Logan. The salad bar will source local produce, while the grab-and-go section will offer quick snacks along with artisan items from other BPM vendors.
Each individual vendor will share their specialties in a similar stall format to the original market. See below for a rundown of offerings from each vendor.
• Beantown Pastrami — pastrami or corned beef sandwiches, pastrami burgers, and sides
• Inna’s Kitchen — falafel and shawarma plates, shakshuka, soups, pitas, and salads
• Market Bagels — bagels, spreads, and bagel sandwiches
• Mother Juice — juices, smoothies, and salads
• Noodle Lab — ramen, rice bowls, and gyoza
• Red’s Best — lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, and seafood salads
The Noodle Lab team is also busy expanding to forthcoming downtown Boston food hall High Street Place, opening Noodle BOS there later this year.
Earlier this year, Chinatown’s Shōjō (9 Tyler St., Boston) opened in terminal C (near gate C19), with grab-and-go meals, seated meals, all-day congee, and a full bar. Terminal A also welcomed a new addition of the Bruins Bar, which serves salads, sandwiches, and other comfort food alongside a full bar, and Kelly’s Roast Beef is now open in terminal B.
This massive overhaul of Logan’s dining options will see even more local additions in the coming months, including some iconic cheap eats options like Santarpio’s Pizza and Sullivan’s Castle Island (the latter of which is also joining the lineup of food hall vendors at Hub Hall near TD Garden).
There are several full-service and fast-casual local restaurants headed for the airport as well, including Lucca Restaurant & Bar, chef Jody Adams’ Mediterranean restaurant Trade and its sibling Greek restaurant Saloniki, two Michael Schlow restaurants (Tico and Alta Strada), Monument Restaurant & Tavern from Charlestown, Not Your Average Joe’s, B. Good, and Mija Cantina & Tequila Bar.
