Boston’s Financial District has welcomed a new source for coffee with the opening of Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge (89 Broad St., Boston), now operating on the ground level of the Hilton hotel building.

Tradesman serves Barrington Coffee Roasters coffee and offers a menu of sandwiches and baked goods, including scones, muffins, and croissants. To make use of the lounge portion of its name, Tradesman plans to expand its beverage offerings to include a list of beer, wine, and cocktails.

The space has counter seating, as well as high-tops, booths, and lounge chairs, and there are dark wood tables, exposed brick, and decorative wallpaper rounding out the design of the space.

Stay tuned for updates on the addition of alcohol to Tradesman’s menu.
