A coffee shop and juice bar has opened its doors in Cambridge, right across the street from popular beer bar Lord Hobo. Gypsy Place Coffee and Juice Bar unveiled its 90 Hampshire St. storefront on Sunday, offering a preview of its coffee selection and vegetarian food.

Manager Petya Todorova plans to run the cafe during limited hours this week as her team tests the menu and collects feedback from customers, she told Eater Tuesday morning. The final menu will feature a variety of fresh juices, fruit smoothies, and breakfast sandwiches.

For its coffee selection, Gypsy Cafe works with Peaks Coffee Company to source beans used in the shop, serving a variety of hot and iced beverages. The cafe seats 20 people, as previously reported.

With the additional offering of juice and smoothies, Gypsy joins several other shops in Cambridge and Somerville in serving juice, including Pressed Juicery in Harvard Square, the Juice Union in Union Square, Life Alive in Central Square, and Mother Juice in Kendall.

Full hours and an official menu for Gypsy Place Coffee and Juice Bar are on the way as it ramps up to a fuller opening. Stay tuned to the cafe’s social media for more details.
