A new vendor arrived at Faneuil Hall Marketplace this week with fully loaded seafood dishes, as promised. Legal Fish Bowl, a fast-casual spinoff from the Legal Sea Foods chain, debuted its stall at Quincy Market on Monday, June 4, per a Twitter tip, with confirmation from Boston Restaurant Talk.

Legal’s first Fish Bowl restaurant opened in Cambridge’s Kendall Square within an existing Legal Sea Foods a little over a year ago, making the Quincy Market stall the first standalone Legal Fish Bowl location. The simple menu offers several pre-set bowls with names like Tunanimous Choice (a sesame ginger tuna poke bowl) and Chicky Chicky Bang Bang (one made with soy ginger chicken), but there are build-your-own bowl options as well.

Customers choose bases (rice, noodles, greens), toppings (shaved cheese, for one), and dressings (like sesame ginger or cider dijon) for the bowls, along with various seafoods (such as salmon or shrimp) and vegetables (such as marinated mushrooms or charred broccoli).

For the full Quincy Market menu, see below, or stop by Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. or Sunday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. — and then get some banana pudding for dessert at Quincy Market’s other recent arrival, Magnolia Bakery.
