Devour Tacos, Jumbo Pretzels, and Key Lime Martinis Near Symphony Hall Tonight

Adjoining restaurants Two Saints Tavern and Dos Diablos are opening in the former Our House East space

Diners in the Symphony area can feast on tacos, beer, and ceviche tonight. Two Saints Tavern and Dos Diablos Taco Bar are opening in adjoining spaces (52 Gainsborough St., Fenway) on Monday, May 21, as Boston Magazine reports. The restaurant duo includes a beer hall atmosphere and a taqueria, with no shortage of snacks and booze to go around.

The team behind the restaurants includes Brian O’Donnell and Dropkick Murphy’s Ken Casey, who also run Yellow Door Taqueria and Lower Mills Tavern in Dorchester, Lion’s Tail in the South End, and McGreevy’s in Back Bay. Partner Chuck Hitchcock is on board as general manager for Two Saints and Dos Diablos, along with executive chef Andrew White, who previously worked at Summer Shack and Church.

Two Saints Tavern, the beer hall, has exposed brick, wood accents, and darts, with a relaxed vibe to go along with its straightforward menu of four main dishes, appetizers, and sides like onion strings and french fries.

On the other side of the equation, Dos Diablos offers a selection of tacos for $4 or $5 each, plus ceviche, queso fundido, and guacamole. For those with dietary restrictions, most menu items have vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free variations available. Both restaurants serve cocktails (including a four-person giant margarita at Dos Diablos), beer, and wine.

Taniya Nayak designed both spaces — as well as the aforementioned sister spots, Yellow Door, Lion’s Tail, and Lower Mills Tavern. Within Two Saints, the team preserved a mural from the space’s former life as Our House East. The depiction of Rosie the Riveter came from local artist Joseph Koury, as previously reported.
