A beer-focused restaurant with a handful of locations across the country will open its first New England location early next year. City Works Eatery & Pour House will open in Watertown within the Arsenal Yards development, as the Boston Globe reported, with about half of its nearly 100 beers sourced from local breweries.

Aside from its lengthy beer list, the restaurant offers “American classics, but with modern and unexpected twists,” according to its website, such as cheese curds with smoked tomato coulis, Buffalo chicken dip, burgers and fries, Carolina fried chicken, and smoked barbecue ribs with creamed corn. A rep for the management group confirmed that Watertown’s menu would be similar to other locations.

The interior of Watertown’s City Works will also bear a resemblance to other locations, with copper-topped bars and tables and accents of both wood and stone. It will also likely have outdoor patio space. City Works currently operates seven other locations in Florida, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Ohio, with additional restaurants opening in Illinois.

Stay tuned for further details on an opening timeline and which local breweries will be represented.
