A Quincy coffee shop that first opened in 1996 and has since expanded to Milton and Quincy’s Wollaston neighborhood now has a new location planned for Hyde Park. Coffee Break Cafe will next open its doors at 680 Truman Pkwy., as founders Jenn and Donny Ormond work to bring caffeine to more areas around Boston.
The duo introduced their coffee shop in the late 1990s with the aim of providing high-quality coffee and great customer service to the community, as previously reported. They emphasize specialty coffees from micro-roasters, which they serve flavored, unflavored, and in espresso-based beverages.
Coffee Break Cafe locations also serve frozen blended beverages (like frozen cocoa and smoothies), in addition to bagels, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and muffins.
The new location in Hyde Park appears to be nearly ready; stay tuned to Coffee Break Cafe’s social media for updates on an opening date.
