Boston’s South End has a new source for pizza. Union Park Pizza (1405 Washington St.) is now open in the former Harry O’s space, and it will soon have a pasta-slinging neighbor, when Black Jack Pasta Kitchen opens in the same building, where Morse Fish Company’s seafood market operated for more than a century.

Word of the two new restaurants came earlier this year, and Union Park Pizza is the first to debut. The restaurant’s opening menu includes a variety of pizzas, including customizable options. Toppings include Walden sausage, caramelized onions, mushrooms, Moody’s pepperoni, assorted cheeses, and more. There’s even a kids’ version and an adults’ version of a cheese pizza, the latter featuring some extra herbs and flavors while the former keeps things simpler.

Still to come is Black Jack Pasta Kitchen (1401 Washington St.), which is a relocation — and reimagining — of the now-closed Black Jack Pasta Bar in Fenway. Its menu will feature 21 varieties of sauce. Construction is underway at the restaurant, and Black Jack is providing updates on its social media.
