It’s that time again: The 2018 World Series begins tomorrow night, October 23, right here in Boston, with the Red Sox taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Games one and two will be at home before the teams cross over to the West Coast for the next two or three, and then if necessary, they’ll return to Boston for games six and seven.
Whether you’ve got coveted tickets and want to know where to eat or drink before the game or whether you’re just looking to soak up that Fenway vibe while watching the game on television, here’s an archive of some of Eater Boston’s recent coverage of the neighborhood: food and drink crawls around Fenway and Kenmore, a more comprehensive dining guide to the neighborhood, and a couple stories about recent openings worth checking out.
Note that swanky new spot Fool’s Errand doesn’t have a television, so go there earlier in the evening to sip fancy cocktails before settling in at one of the neighborhood’s countless sports bars. Don’t worry: Literally every single Fenway establishment that owns a television will be tuned in.
