A local group of burrito shops opens its eighth location this week, and it’s within one of Boston’s most famous buildings: Anna’s Taqueria debuts at the Prudential Center (800 Boylston St., Back Bay, Boston) on Thursday, February 1, at 7 a.m.
Anna’s Taqueria has been around for more than 20 years, and its Prudential Center location — which has been in the works since late 2016 — will serve a familiar menu of tacos, burritos, rice and salad bowls, and quesadillas. Convenient for those working in Back Bay, the new location will also offer breakfast, with options including egg-filled burritos, tacos, and rice bowls, plus orange juice and horchata.
The restaurant is located inside the Pru near Sak’s Fifth Avenue, and it joins several other new dining additions to the building, including Canadian chain Earls Kitchen + Bar; New York City’s Num Pang, a restaurant that serves sandwiches inspired by Southeast Asia; and Dig Inn, another New York export that serves salads and grain bowls with seasonal ingredients.
Anna’s Taqueria will operate within the Pru seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its seven sibling locations can be found in Brookline, Newton, Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston.
