A Boston-born juice shop that opened in Brighton in May of 2017 will expand this year, opening a second location. The Oak Square shop Energize (618 Washington St.) announced on Facebook it would add another shop to the family, providing twice the opportunity for customers to indulge in its health-centric menu.

“We are excited to announce that our family just got bigger. Energize # 2 is soon to come,” the post read. “This is all happening because of you. All of you who have demonstrated a tremendous support and infinite loyalty to the Energize mission — to energize the society with clean organic delicious food options. We would have never been able to do it without your help, for which we are immensely grateful. You now have made possible for more people to experience Energize.”

Energize was founded by four friends — Tihomir Deliivanov, Ivaylo Dimitrov, his brother Tsvetelin Dimitrov, and Radomir Stoyanov — who built the menu around a plant-based strategy, developing recipes for smoothies, juice blends, salads, and other items. Most recently, in December, Energize introduced its own mobile phone app, which customers can use to place orders.

Stay tuned for details on the location of the new shop and an opening timeline.

Update, 2:30 p.m.: The second location of Energize will be at 265 Massachusetts Ave. in Boston, near Symphony Hall. The team is targeting an opening around March 30, 2018.
