Globe Bar & Cafe has completed its relocation from one space on Boston’s Boylston Street to another, officially opening in its new home last week. After vacating 565 Boylston St. late last year, the restaurant took over 384 Boylston St., the former home of the Rattlesnake Bar & Grill, which had closed down in November of 2016.
An Instagram post from the restaurant shows the updated interior at the new location, featuring several small tables near the front window, which can open accordion-style when it’s warm out. Seasonally, Globe Bar & Cafe will also make use of the old Rattlesnake roof deck, giving guests the opportunity to dine and drink outside.
The restaurant, which is affiliated with Lir (an Irish pub also located on Boylston Street) and McGann’s Irish Pub in the West End, serves a menu that includes sandwiches, burgers, salads, and entrees that range from fish and chips to baked lobster mac and cheese. There are also cocktails, wine, and beer.
Globe Bar & Cafe is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
