A restaurant with multiple levels and a rooftop bar opens Friday, September 8 in the Prudential Center. Earls Kitchen + Bar has arrived from up north, bringing plenty of cocktails and a global menu to nearly 15,000 square feet of space inside the Pru.
This is the second area location of Earls, a Canada-based restaurant chain. The Northeast flagship restaurant is located at Somerville’s Assembly Row, and the Prudential location has been in the works for roughly two years.
The space itself spans three levels: The first includes a bar, while the second level has a 300-seat main dining room, an open kitchen, and a private dining space. The rooftop patio and lounge accommodates 200 with a retractable roof and a garden-like feel. Earls’ food menu spans a range of cuisines, including elaborate sushi rolls, hamburgers, noodle and rice bowls, ribs, and roasted salmon, and the restaurant makes an effort to source ingredients locally. The drink selection at the Back Bay location includes six versions of an Old Fashioned, assorted classic cocktails, craft beer, and wine.
Earls is open Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
