A place to get Vietnamese-style desserts officially opens this weekend in Dorchester. Bambu Desserts & Drinks will debut at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, bringing assorted sweet beverages to 287 Adams St.
Four sisters founded Bambu in California in 2008, and the cafe concept has since expanded to 14 states across the country and 50 locations, including one in Randolph, as previously reported. The menu includes more than 80 different beverages, including smoothies and coffee, as well as boba milk teas and ché, a sweet, pudding-like drink. Ingredients in the drinks range from red tapioca and mung bean to avocado, coconut milk, pandan jelly, taro, and lychee, and extra toppings are available for customization.
A grand opening for Bambu on Saturday will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and customers will receive 10 percent off their orders.
