Rogue Lounge stands poised to add a new dining option near TD Garden in Boston’s West End, and with a target opening date in October, the team will spend the next couple of weeks putting the finishing touches on the inside of the restaurant.

Michael DeSousa, Timothy Bartolomeu, Anthony DePinto, and Kevin Ye all bring years of experience in restaurants around Greater Boston to this new project. They’ve made several design changes to the restaurant space at 222 Friend St., which previously housed North Star, including breaking it down into several different areas that flow together. There will be leather booths, a private dining and events space, and areas with lounge seating. The space will also have televisions and custom artwork.

The food menu at Rogue Lounge will draw inspiration from both Asian and American cuisine. There will be sushi alongside burgers and small plates, plus 10 rotating craft beers and 10 standard draft beers, and classic cocktails. Rogue will also offer a house mai tai on tap.

The team has signs installed, televisions wired, and just a few finishing touches to tend to inside before opening the restaurant. Look out for Rogue Lounge in mid-October.
