A new restaurant named for its address will arrive in Arlington Center this coming fall in the former Elton’s Roast Beef & Pizza space. The so-called 478 Mass. Ave. restaurant, self-dubbed “the biggest little restaurant in America,” will arrive in early November, according to Wicked Local, bringing breakfast foods and seafood-centric lunch and dinner menus to the neighborhood, including some Korean options.
The menu for 478 Mass. Ave. spans a broad range of items, including “crazy breakfasts” on the weekends and baked stuffed lobster for dinner, per Boston Restaurant Talk. Filings with the city indicate that other potential menu items include hot and cold lobster rolls, mussels, steamers, clam chowder, sub sandwiches, steak, select Korean-style dishes like bulgogi and shabu shabu, and desserts like cookies, cakes, pies, and more. Breakfast items will include eggs, muffins, pancakes, and sandwiches on bagels and English muffins.
478 Mass. Ave. will offer takeout and delivery, and there will be seating for 16 people inside, with a counter-ordering system in place.
The restaurant could operate Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Update, 10/22: The restaurant will actually be called Lobstah on a Roll. Plus, another location is also in the works — 537 Columbus Ave. in Boston’s South End (previously Emma’s Pizza), serving sandwiches, “crazy lobstah rolls,” and “lobstah dinners.” The Boston location will be “99% takeout” and will deliver to homes and offices.
