A Thai restaurant in Brookline will add a second location across the river in Cambridge. Pineapple Thai Cuisine (6 Cypress St.) applied for a victualler license to operate at 1108 Cambridge St., according to Boston Restaurant Talk, and it will be located next door to Midwest Grill and on the other side of the street from Bom Cafe and Clover.
Pineapple Thai first opened in Brookline in 2015, under the guise of Yehoshua Peled and partner Supaporn Bunnagitkarn, as previously reported. The restaurant’s dishes include noodle soups, Thai curry, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, and assorted appetizers that range from pork and chicken satay to chicken wings, scallion pancakes, vegetable dumplings, and roti served with chicken.
Peled and Bunnagitkarn’s proposal for the Inman Square restaurant includes seating for 26 people. The potential operating hours run from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
