A tea bar that opened just over a year ago in Jamaica Plain adds a new sibling in Charlestown this week. Evy Tea gives customers a first look at the new 1 Monument Ave. location tomorrow, filling the neighborhood with founder Evy Chen’s selection of cold-brewed teas and more.

Chen announced the expansion earlier this year, later sharing the news that her latest brick-and-mortar project would land in Charlestown. The new Evy Tea location will serve the familiar lineup of cold-brewed teas, plus a selection of tea lattes and snacks, in addition to other items.

It’s been a big year for the company, which has been doing an increasing amount of wholesale business in addition to opening physical locations. Chen also recently acquired an Airstream trailer and renovated it to function as a mobile tea bar; plus, she raised $1 million in seed funding to expand her business nationwide, as BostInno reported.
