After a snowstorm caused a Quincy pizzeria to close its doors two years ago, the spot is now back in business with loaded wraps, Buffalo wings, and plenty of pizza. Unchained Pizza has re-opened its original location in Adams Plaza at 550 Adams St., its team wrote in a Facebook post yesterday.
“Today is the official grand opening of our Quincy location,” the restaurant posted. “We've even closed our Dorchester location for the day (it'll re-open tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.). Stop on in!”
Owner John Magraw shuttered his South Shore shop in February 2015 when bad weather caused a nearby roof to cave in. He has since opened a second Unchained location in Dorchester, which debuted last September to serve his pies while construction crews rebuilt the Quincy space from the ground up.
Now, both locations are up and running, with a stacked menu of steak fajita pizzas, chicken parmesan sandwiches, and Southwest chicken wraps. Many of those pizzas can be made gluten-free upon request. Unchained’s menu also boasts a selection of appetizers and small bites, spanning steak and cheese egg rolls to cheesecake bites.
