An ever-expanding empire of pizza joints that started out on Nantucket just added another new location, this time in Cambridge, near Central Square. Oath Craft Pizza debuted at 181 Massachusetts Ave. this week with a sign out front reading “now open.” The fast-casual pizza restaurant cooks full or half pies in just 90 seconds and features a variety of toppings, from vegetables to meats.
The newest addition to the Oath Craft family sits next to Saloniki in the Novartis building in Cambridge. It is the sixth Oath Craft restaurant; the first opened on Nantucket in 2015, with others following in South Station, Chestnut Hill, Davis Square, and Coolidge Corner within the last two years. Another new restaurant will open later this fall at 1350 Boylston St. in Fenway, as previously reported, and the Oath Craft website indicates that the group will add a restaurant in Fairfax, VA as well.
Oath Craft’s 11-inch pies come with pre-set toppings and customizable options, in whole and half pie versions, and with gluten-free crust options. There are also salads and dessert pizzas. Cambridge’s restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the website.
