Les Sablons arrived in Harvard Square four months ago, and now the swanky French-leaning Cambridge restaurant — “between London and Paris” is the official tagline — is adding weekday lunch service to the mix; it begins today, August 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The restaurant — sibling to Boston’s Island Creek Oyster Bar and Row 34 — is serving a mix of favorites from the existing dinner and brunch menus as well as some new additions, including soupe à l’oignon (with gruyere and a baguette), marinated halibut (with espelette pepper, avocado, and almonds), nicoise salad (with tuna confit, beans, herb aioli, and a baguette), and chilled lobster tail with bibb lettuce, scallions, and sesame dressing. The Sunday brunch burger also makes an appearance, minus the fried egg.
Here’s a look at the brand new lunch menu:
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; there’s also Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Les Sablons is open for dinner at 5 p.m. nightly.
