Boston’s homegrown burger restaurant will soon add a new location near TD Garden. The Franklin Restaurant Group aims for a fall opening for its newest Tasty Burger, located within the new Avalon North Station mixed-use development. A grand opening event scheduled on Facebook will provide updates on a precise opening date for those eagerly awaiting the arrival of burgers and shakes.
This new Tasty Burger joins five others in the Boston area (Fenway, Harvard Square, Dudley Square, Back Bay, and Southie, plus counters inside Fenway Park) and one in Washington, DC. Diners can expect to see the chain’s classic menu of hamburgers and cheeseburgers, in addition to chicken sandwiches and hot dogs. On the beverage side, there will be shakes and rickeys, and this location will also serve beer and wine.
The forthcoming restaurant will occupy a space on the first level of the development at 1 Nashua St., right next to TD Garden, giving Tasty Burger even more of a hand in fueling fans of the city’s major professional sports teams. (The original Tasty Burger location sits in the shadow of Fenway Park and has infiltrated the stadium itself as well.)
Tasty Burger is one of several restaurants in the Franklin Restaurant Group family, including Citizen Public House and Oyster Bar, Franklin Cafe, and the forthcoming Our Fathers Delicatessen in Allston, also slated to open this fall.
