Boston’s warm front will continue this week with the opening of 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza near Government Center. The New Jersey-based chain officially debuts its newest location at 45 Court St. on Thursday, August 24, and to celebrate the opening, 1000 Degrees will offer free pizzas throughout the day, until the restaurant runs out.

This is the first Massachusetts location of the 1000 Degrees chain, and owner Ken Pasquariello plans to offer the first 10 people in line one free pizza each week for a year. 1000 Degrees operates with a counter service-style setup reminiscent of other fast-casual pizza spots like Blaze Pizza and Crush Pizza: Customers choose from dozens of toppings that get added to their pie, then wait for the pizza to cook for two minutes in a brick oven.

The menu at 1000 Degrees also includes bread sticks, salads, and wings. The restaurant will operate Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
