Yet another new source for juice joins Boston next month: Boston Juicing opens in September in Charlestown, at 283 Main St. Founder Cara Birritteri planned a grand opening for the day, which will feature a selection of juices, smoothies, and more. She has documented progress on the buildout of the space on the Boston Juicing Facebook page.
“We couldn't be more excited to serve our Boston community with a menu full of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, healthy alternative snacks and a unique blend of our flavorful teas,” a post on the Boston Juicing opening day event page reads.
Ingredients in the Boston Juicing blends range from carrots, ginger, and beets to apple, lemon, and orange. There will be bottled juices available to grab and go, per a post on Facebook, and other items available will include an infused herbal tea.
Unlike much of the rest of the Boston area, Charlestown is relatively devoid of sources for cold-pressed juice. While a second area location of Evy Tea just opened on Monument Avenue, featuring cold-brewed teas and snacks, the closest formal juice bar to Boston Juicing is the new Squeeze Juice Company at Assembly Row.
Update, 8/19: This post previously indicated that Boston Juicing would open on September 1; it has been updated to reflect that an exact opening date has not yet been set, but it will be in September.
Hello all Boston Juicing fans! We can't wait to serve juicy goodness to you in September! Just a note, our official...
