A French restaurant opening soon near Boston Common has begun its search for employees with a career fair designed to staff management, kitchen, and cafe positions. Explorateur draws its inspiration from Europe and will operate all day with a cafe space, restaurant, and bar, per its shiny new website.
The restaurant will open within the Masonic temple at 186 Tremont St., as previously reported. A member of the Big Night Entertainment Group, Explorateur joins three restaurants and nightclubs in Boston (Red Lantern, Empire, and Gem) and another on the way, in addition to other venues elsewhere in Massachusetts and in Connecticut.
Along with the decidedly French influences, Explorateur will also bring in a taste of California: “We present ‘Things we call French’ dishes at the core of our menu and compliment [sic] them with Californian inspired new world dishes that we think you will love,” the website reads. Hiring events continue through August 3. Look out for further details on an exact opening date.
