Ferry Street Food & Drink in Malden has closed suddenly, according to a tip Eater received and a report from Boston Restaurant Talk. The 118 Ferry St. restaurant, which first opened in May of 2014, has papered-over windows, and its website and social media pages have been shut down.
The restaurant specialized in New American dishes and tavern fare, plus cocktails and craft beer. The menu featured items like burgers, skirt steak with sweet potato fries, roasted half chicken, braised rabbit, and more.
A reason was not given for the restaurant’s closure, and its phone line has been disconnected. The website reads: “We’re under construction. Please check back for an update soon.” Eater will share any further details about the closure as they become available.
