A new tavern arrives in Quincy on July 5, taking over a space that was long occupied by an Italian restaurant. Brick & Beam Tavern debuts at 705 Adams St. today at 4 p.m., per a video post on Facebook that shows off the renovations that were made to the restaurant space.

The management team behind Brick & Beam also operates North Star near TD Garden and The Banshee in Dorchester, as previously reported. There were extensive renovations to the Brick & Beam space, which was the home of Villa Rosa for more than 60 years.

The restaurant will serve comfort food pub fare, including lobster rolls, chicken parm sliders, Brussels sprouts, and more. Brick & Beam is located down the road from a handful of other restaurants, including Novara, Abby Park, and Ichiro Sushi, to name a few. Doors open at 4 p.m. for dinner on Wednesday, July 5.
