Development continues in Boston’s Seaport District as a group of restaurants prepares to add one more to the family. Earlier this month, crews broke ground at 75 on Seaport Square, according to the Beacon Hill Times, which will join a restaurant group that includes the similarly named 75 Chestnut and 75 on Liberty Wharf, as well as Cheers Beacon Hill, Cheers Faneuil Hall, and Hampshire House.
The new 75 on Seaport Square restaurant will be located at 60 Seaport Blvd., as previously reported, and will span 7,000 square feet of space in the same complex as the forthcoming Tuscan Grill, a Kings Bowl location, and a theater.
The restaurant could open in November 2017 and will serve a menu of American comfort dishes, similar to 75 Chestnut. There will also be space for private events. The restaurant group also previously had plans to open another restaurant called 75 on Cambridge at the former site of Grampy’s Gas in Beacon Hill, though the status of that project is unknown.
