A local juice bar with a handful of locations around Greater Boston just added one more to the lineup. Squeeze Juice Company has opened its doors at Assembly Row in Somerville and has plenty of juices, smoothies, acai bowls, coffee, and snacks for the new neighborhood.
Founder Sasha Nisenbaum opened the first Squeeze Juice Co. location in 2012. The company previously held a partnership with Equinox and had juice bars inside two of the gym’s Boston locations. That partnership ended in January, as previously reported, and Squeeze moved on with its own expansion plans.
Now, Squeeze’s Assembly Row store brings the total number of locations to five. There are others in Downtown Boston, Back Bay, Chestnut Hill, and in the Seaport District at the Everybody Fights Gym. Work on a location in South Station is still underway.
Assembly Row’s Squeeze Juice Co. is located at 399 Revolution Dr. Look for items like the Rio bowl (with acai, banana, apple juice, and gluten-free granola) and the Paradise smoothie (with mango, avocado, coconut flakes, turmeric, honey, and coconut milk). The new location also offers kombucha and coffee on tap.
