A new restaurant in East Boston debuts brunch service this weekend. Cunard Tavern kicks off its new menu at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, and will offer brunch through 2:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. The 24 Orleans St. restaurant, located in Eastie’s Jeffries Point neighborhood, just opened last month after being in the works since early 2014.

For brunch, Cunard Tavern will serve a variety of egg dishes and some sweeter options, plus cocktails. There’s an Elvis Sandwich made with peanut butter, banana, and bacon between brioche slices, all dipped in egg and grilled; a baked French toast casserole; and a bacon and egg burger topped with chipotle hollandaise.

The restaurant has a 65-seat dining room with large windows that open to the street, plus a roof area that accommodates 35.
