A new Arlington restaurant that puts pasta on a pedestal will arrive soon. Twyrl Pasta Bistro opens its doors next Thursday, July 20, at 315 Broadway and will be ready to feed pastas, sandwiches, salads, and more to the neighborhood.

Twyrl is the work of chef Anka Bric and manager Chris Furlong, who modeled the pasta bistro off their family travels to Italy. Bric and Furlong, whose families are related by marriage, have been searching for a location for their pasta concept for two years, according to Twyrl’s website.

All pastas at the restaurant will be made with durum wheat flour and eggs, with the dishes cooked to order each time, topped with light sauces, meat, and vegetables. Twyrl will also serve sandwiches on bread from Somerville Bread Company. The restaurant plans to offer wines from smaller vineyards, along with craft beers, and a wide selection of sauces and toppings for pasta dishes.

Once Twyrl opens next week, it will operate Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
