A Thai restaurant in Coolidge Corner has shut down after nearly two decades in business. Khao Sarn, located at 250 Harvard St., posted the news out in front of the restaurant letting customers know it had closed, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
Khao Sarn opened 16 years ago and specialized in Thai cuisine. The restaurant was run by the Aramthip family, who posted a note of farewell on the Khao Sarn Facebook page:
After 16 years in Brookline, we want to THANK YOU everyone for your love and support over this incredible run. We will miss you all and look forward to the new adventure to come. If you miss us, please visit us at our new restaurant, a fast casual eatery.
The restaurant, called LeDu Thai Eatery, is located in Newtonville at 313 Walnut St. and serves a menu of classic Thai dishes, like kao soi chicken, curry, and green papaya salad. It has been open since January and operates Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m.
