A Nantucket-born pizza place that now has a handful of locations around the Boston area will add two more after a massive influx of funding. Oath Craft Pizza just raked in $7 million and will add a location in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood and one in Cambridge’s Central Square, near MIT, as Boston Restaurant Talk reports. Oath Craft will also be adding a location in the Washington, DC area.
The restaurant got its start on Nantucket in 2015 and later expanded to Boston with a stall in South Station and restaurants in Somerville’s Davis Square, Chestnut Hill, and most recently, a new location in Brookline. Oath Craft’s menu features 11-inch pizzas that are customizable or available with pre-set toppings and cooked in 90 seconds. Toppings include mushrooms, pulled pork, and assorted cheeses, among others, and there are salads and desserts available as well. The crusts are infused with avocado oil, and half-pies are available.
Oath Craft’s quick-cooked pies will arrive in Central Square later this summer, while the Fenway restaurant will follow in the fall, opening at 1350 Boylston St.
Update, 7/20/17: Oath Craft confirms that the Cambridge location is on track to open by the end of the summer. It will join Saloniki in the Novartis building at 181 Massachusetts Ave.
