A Boston-born juice shop with locations in the South End and Beacon Hill has partnered with a major grocery chain to bring in-store juice bars to a handful of locations around the area. Pressed and Whole Foods Market are now working in concert to provide shakes, juices, and more to grocery shoppers, as Boston Magazine reports, and will do so in several locations throughout the region.

The first juice bar will open within the new Sudbury store at 536 Boston Post Rd. on July 8. Pressed will bring their lineup of cold-pressed juices, vegetable shots, prepared foods, and shakes to additional Whole Foods stores throughout the region, following the opening of the Sudbury store, though the specific locations have not yet been announced.

Pressed co-owners David Clendenin and Ashley Gleeson opened the first location in Beacon Hill in January 2015, followed by the South End juice bar in September 2016. In a release, Gleeson said the partnership with “such a well-respected and conscientious brand, seemed like an obvious direction for us.” Further details on additional locations will be announced in the coming months.
