A Taiwanese restaurant that was destroyed in a late 2014 fire has rebuilt and reopened in Cambridge: MuLan Taiwanese Restaurant is back up and running and bigger than before after taking over the adjacent space that housed Beauty’s Pizza before the fire. (Beauty’s has since reopened on Hampshire Street in Cambridge.)
MuLan was out of commission for about two and a half years but has rebounded, reopening within the last week at 228 Broadway, which now sports a full-blown rebuild and extensive renovations. The menu features items like homemade dumplings, soups, noodle and rice dishes, and assorted meat and vegetable items, plus hot pot offerings. There are also fried rice dishes, lunch specials, and various moo shi options.
MuLan is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. There is another MuLan location in Waltham.
