A Canadian restaurant chain will finally make moves to open within the city from which it takes its name: Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar plans to open two locations in Boston, according to the Boston Business Journal, including one in the Fenway neighborhood, and the first location is reportedly on track to open some time this year.
Boston’s was founded in Edmonton, Alberta in the 1960s and has locations in both the United States and Canada. It also has a sister restaurant, Boston Pizza. The sports bar serves items like wings, burgers, pasta, pizza, salads, and assorted appetizers. A release announcing the news indicates the operator of both Boston’s restaurants in Boston will be Mineshkumar Patel, who has experience with franchising and co-owns another Boston’s location in Arizona. Stay tuned for more specifics on Boston’s arrival in Boston.
