Renovations of a longtime sports bar in West Bridgewater are now complete and Barrett’s Alehouse has officially opened within the former Charlie Horse space, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. This is the fourth location for Barrett’s, which also has restaurants in Fall River, Bridgewater, and North Attleborough.

Charlie Horse closed down last August at 674 West Center St., after about 25 years in business, as previously reported. Another location of the restaurant remains open in Kingston, MA. Charlie Horse’s owner, Mary Barrett-Costello, had closed the restaurant for cost reasons, and her brother, Mike Barrett, subsequently stepped in and took over the space. The interior of the new Barrett’s Alehouse has been renovated and updated to include a bar, dining area, and function space, according to the Taunton Gazette.

The menu includes starters like nachos and chicken tenders, and there is a smorgasbord of other options, including salads, steak tips, tacos, pizzas, burgers, seafood dishes, sandwiches, and more. Barrett’s is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
